In a hot day, the best way to quench the heat is eating an ice cream.
Today, I went to a Chinese store to eat a green tea shave ice with my friend.
The taste was so good, even the appearance looks pretty.
On the top, it is mint ice cream, but I am not really like that flavor....Otherwise, I like it.
There are a lot of red bean and green tea powder, so it is not very sweet.
But, if you like sweet, you can ask the waiter to add some more condensed milk.
In the shop, there are other kinds of shave ice: strawberry, mango, and brown sugar.
I would like to try mango next time.
Moreover, it is a tea shop, so they also sell Boba, green tea, coffee.... it likes "tea station"
By the way, if you buy 9 drinks, you can get 1 free.
The location is
709 W. Las Tunas Dr.
San Gabriel CA 91776
626-282-8289
Wow!! That picture looks positively delicious! What is the name of that Chinese place? I see the address you posted, but no name for the establishment.
ReplyDeleteWhile we are on the topic of delicious Asian shaved ice dishes, try also these 2 spots:
1. Kang Kang Food Court - 27 E. Valley, Alhambra, CA. (ginormous shaved ice with a variety of toppings to choose from, for under $4.00 per)
2. Pa Pa Walk - 227 W. Valley #148b, San Gabriel, CA (excellent Taiwanese food, and shaved ice dishes with fruit and Taiwanese dessert toppings meant to be shared with at least 1~2 other persons. Yeah, ginormous too)
The name is 啡我莫屬 ( piece of cake cafe)
